Become a Mentor

Have a passion for leading and helping develop young adults?

We say our mentorship program is much more than just a transaction. Here, we focus on the relationship. As a mentor, you’ll act as a life navigator, advocate, cheerleader, and most importantly, a genuine friend they may have never had. You’ll guide them in personal development areas including, relationships, finances, networking, housing and creating community, as well as play a major role in their transition into their future careers, working hand-in-hand with each mentee’s Career Advisor.

What are the requirements? Over the age of 24, live in Atlanta, and have a heart for investing in young adults.

What’s the commitment? We ask our mentors to commit to a minimum of 1 year to really foster and grow the relationship. Time commitment will be about 2 hours per week or 8 hours per month, while we’d encourage as much communication and interactions as possible.

What’s the application process?

  1. Apply using the short form to the right to share a bit more about yourself and why you want to become a mentor.

  2. Interview with one of our team members to share some of your experience, excitement and ensure you’re a good fit, as well as ask any of your questions.

  3. Orientation & Training will be conducted virtually or in-person to provide you with the confidence and support for your first meeting.

  4. Matching will happen after we’ve gotten to know you and thoughtfully paired you based on strengths and interests.

We aim to make the process simple and supportive, just like the relationships we hope to build.

Thank you for taking this step toward changing a life!
